So, we snagged the house yesterday. Nearly there, nearly there! Oh boy I can't wait to get stuck into all the tiling and whatnot. Have to get things like a side gate organised too - get the drill out for that. Snag list will be forwarded over the next couple of days once we've finalised it, and then it won't be too long hopefully! Mainly cosmetic stuff, but there were one or two more serious snags that we'll be very careful about checking again of course.Had a nice Italian this evening, in Pasta Fresca in Naas. M had canneloni, and I had a yummy pizza with ham, mushrooms, peppers and pepperoni. Mmmmm, pizza. Who invented Pizza? I must check wikipedia. Wow pizza is old. No wonder it's so yummy, plenty of time to perfect it!
There were delicious desserts too. I had a pecan pie, which was delicious with the coffee, and m had a chocolate mousse (I can't remember the name) but it was really rich chocolate and likewise went very well with the coffee! Top marks, 2 mains, 2 desserts and a pair of coffees for 50 euros, which isn't all bad in this day and age.
No Beemer yet, due to paperwork delays. (time for a sad smiley :( and
back to waiting) but I've put the er-5 in the buyandsell (another sad smiley methinks :( now close the brackets) to make room for the k75. The beemer looks like this, for anyone wanting to know! (I know it's not supremely beautiful, but it is a) in need of a good clean and b) 16 years old!)That's all for now folks. Catch you in another lunar orbit.
