And, we had some champagne too! So the toaster works, which is important. All the kitchen appliances are in (thanks to our generous helpers with the oven!) and some of the furniture has been delivered.
We spent Friday night in the house, and would probably have spent the whole weekend there except we had other plans already! Now our fireplace is ordered (delivery expected in a couple of weeks, but it's still warmish) and we have to get on with curtains and junk like that now.

By all accounts my new headlamp unit has arrived. I ordered from www.motobins.co.uk (BMW parts dealers - sell almost everything you need to build a beemer and only a beemer from scratch!) last Wednesday and it's arrived already! Wowsers! Thumbs up to those guys. So that'll have to be fitted shortly too.
Started my new job today, more about that later - first days are always boring aren't they? But it seems like a nice enough bunch, fingers crossed the work will be interesting too! Catch you all later, guys and gals..

Indeed, there's a hole in the chimney breast at sitting room level that allows you to fit a fireplace. We didn't like any of the standard ones, so refrained from having one fitted from the Builders supplier.
