I am assured that we will have a phone line soon, and that (cross your fingers) it will be broadband enabled. New York will be continued then, as will the voluminous rants I've been storing up (nah, they dissipate quite quickly actually). And a couple of book reviews etc. etc.
Soon, incidentally, means within about a week.
