Some observations. Well, 2 in fact.

Isn't it ironic when you're listening to your local radio station in the morning, on which taxi drivers announce the morning traffic jams and snarlups, and the taxi drivers tell everyone to "drive safely now"?

And isn't it a little bit, inhuman maybe, to think that a car overturned on the M50 yesterday morning, and in the news reports I've heard and read in regards to the horrific traffic that ensued, nobody mentioned whether somebody might have been hurt or not?

I've had no response. That's absolutely no response from our friends in Tullamore.

At least Eircom responded to my email. Not very constructively, and not since to my own response, but there you go.

  1. So you did send the e-mail to the people of Tullamore informing them of their illegal profits at your expense. I think it was worth it, if it happens to enough people and eventually gets a local investigation there will be some evidence to show that they were aware of the problem. Or being optimistic about it one could hope that they have fixed the problem and just have neglected to let you know. I wouldn't hold out much hope for your euro change though, I think Dad had a similar experience with a parking metre many moons ago and his letter disappeared into the great abyss...
    Have a good Friday.

  2. I did indeed. However no response as yet. A phone call highlighted imminent new parking byelaws, that weren't introduced yet. Nonetheless....a response would be nice.
