To those of you who're wondering where I am....

I apologise. Weather's been too good. I am formulating at the moment a post on Rome, and on some books that need rating. I'm reading a book on Chocolate at the moment, which is a bad idea because all I want to do is eat chocolate. I'm also wondering if it's a good idea for people with economic theories about inflation or house prices or recessions or unemployment to voice them - if you're an eminent person and you say house prices will crash, surely that in itself reduces confidence in a market, thereby contributing to the end result? Anyway, I only write to say that I know I haven't written in a while and intend to write some more when it rains again. Cheers. (oh and keep an eye on www.met.ie/forecasts)
