Well here it is, Saturday morning has arrived again. That was a nice shortish week - only 4 days with the New Year Bank Holiday on Monday. I was starting to get bored so it's kinda nice to get back to work and the routine that brings. That feeling will last approximately 10 more minutes. Or maybe until Sunday evening. We'll see! Not that work is an awful chore, I do enjoy it mostly. Anyway, enough about work - that might be for another blog.
Life in my shoes on this Saturday morning is nice and simple. Read in bed for an hour or so before getting up. (Da Vinci has just been apprenticed in Florence - this book is a lot heavier going than Deception Point!). Ordinarily I might go for a walk with my new radio (thanks to the folks for that!) but I hurt my foot last weekend in a dramatic gravity-induced friction-related staircase accident so that's out. So I made myself a smoothie (1 apple, 1 banana, 1 raspberry yogurt, some ice - quite nice indeed) and sat down to check my life on the Internet.
Only 1 comment to check on the blog (thanks Pete) this morning. I'm up to 13 visitors now since yesterday! Score is quite good on Evo (158th of 2506) and I had lots of resources to spend from last night. I had a couple of emails to read on gmail so there was a bit to do.
Later on we'll be going to view a house, and then I think we'll just mosey about town for a bit, get some lunch/coffee somewhere maybe? Oh, and I think I'll buy a new mouse, one of them fancy optical ones that don't need lots of cleaning when coffee gets spilt on them (not me I hasten to add!). Right, time to get going.
