Saw "You Me and Dupree" over the weekend. Whilst enjoyable, it mostly
just fleshes out the trailer. So, you couldn't really give it more than
about 13/21 or so.
Book reviews are mounting up, and I hope to get a few more online in
the coming weeks. There is light at the end of the tiling tunnel now, in
that I've most of them laid, and only have to get about 6 laid in and
around the fridge before I get the whole lot grouted.
Carpets are in the bedrooms now, that makes a nice difference, and the
fireplace has been installed - so it's starting to come together.
In a funny way, while moving into a furnished/decorated house appeals,
it's nice that every week or so something new pops up and makes it all
seem new again!
I checked in on the statistics last night - whilst I've been away for a
week, there's still been some fairly regular traffic visiting the blog,
which is interesting.
It would appear that you can remotely post to your blog then? The Kildare County Council disclaimer at the end of your most recent blog gives the game away!
ReplyDeleteGlad to here the tiling is nearly done, although I'm afraid to tell you that the grouting can be a slow enough process also.
Catherine and I were in Cork city last weekend with our tag rugby team. Travelled on Friday and played tag all Saturday afternoon and evening. It was the first time I had seen some of the teams from higher leagues play and damn can they play! Very fast and lots of fancy moves. We had a good time though at our own pace. Went for a nice Thai dinner and a few beers on Saturday night and then wandered around Cork on Sunday before heading home sunday afternoon.
Bye for now. Jonathan.
