A condition which occurs following tiling on your knees for a whole day.
And your hamstrings tend to burn a little too, the day after. Still and
all, it's good to have some of it done. Now the cutting
begins.......(cue eerie music).
Last night we went to see "Nacho Libre" the new Jack Black film.
Unfortunately, it's also the new nickelodeon film. Which means it's a
little childish and simple. So I enjoyed it! It's the story of a
(somewhere in South America-mexico maybe?)priest who dreams of rising
out of his daily chores (making stew, picking up free nacho chips,
shopping with no money for food) and becoming a luchador [spelling?] or
wrestler, and who seizes his opportunity when it arises.
We also had an Eddie Rockets - mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Cheese
Please.....[drools]
Big shout out to all the Leaving Cert folk today, best of luck with the
CAO offers!
Interestingly there were only 3 courses that maintained last years or increased their points requirements in the CAO process. Medicine of course (pun intended), architecture and engineering. Who would have thought. And with fewer people actually sitting the leaving cert this year that means a higher percentage of those applying are looking to study engineering. I wonder whether computer engineering is making a come-back or are the traditional civil / mechanical courses also gaining in popularity?
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the tiling went well.
Bye.
